Overview of Mapper

Discover the key features of Nexefy Mapper, learn how to create and review maps, and easily export them to CSV. 

Nexefy Mapper consists of two main areas:

Dashboard

The dashboard is a multifunctional hub that allows you to access, manage and organise your maps, as well as manage your account. From the dashboard, you can:

Navigation Bar

The navigation bar persists throughout the app. It allows you to view your credits and access your account from any page. On the dashboard, the navigation bar displays a New Map button that opens the New Map Workflow.

Side Menu

The side menu allows for navigation within the dashboard.

  • Maps: Displays all your individual maps (including any assigned to collections)
  • Collections: Displays all your collections
  • Recent: Displays recently viewed maps and collections
  • Accounts:
    • Billing: Displays your subscriptions, purchase history and purchase options
    • Profile: Displays your profile information and allows password change
Side Menu

Content Area

The content area displays the main content of the page. The default view of the dashboard includes map cards and filters.

Control Panel

The control panel shows details and allows actions relating to the map(s) or collection selected. From the control panel you can:

  • Open, download or delete a map report
  • View, edit and delete versions
  • View filters and collections
  • View uploaded files

Map Report

The Map Report allows you to view and adjust Mapper’s evaluation of your content. Within the Map Report, you can:

Areas of the Map Report

Tool Bar

The toolbar allows you to make changes across the whole map report, including all unit maps within the report. The tool bar allows you to:

  • View the map or collection name and code
  • Play and Pause maps
  • Download maps as CSV

Overview Area

The overview area displays a summary of the percentage of met criteria within the current unit. While the map is still analysing, it will show Mapper’s progress in finding met criteria.

Map Report Area

The map report area displays the list of units and the criteria list of the current unit selection. The map report area allows you to:

Control Panel

The control panel shows information, and allows actions relating to a selected criterion. Within the Control Panel, you can:

  • View the files related to this map
  • Access the version history of this map
  • View the details of the map and each criterion
  • Adjust the reasoning and references for each criterion
